| Polyshield membranes are elastoplastomeric prefabricated high performance weatherproofing membranes, made of a distilled bitumen compound base modified with POLYPROPYLENE and a constant reinforced double non-woven polyester filament ;SPUNBOND. This particular type of compound and its high performing mechanical reinforcement characteristics (excellent lengthening, high piercing resistance and remarkable traction) make the membrane adaptable even for the toughest jobs. This particular formula consents unique flexibility properties at low temperatures. POLYSHIELD TS 4 and POLYSHIELD TS 4 MINERAL register a flexibility loss of just 5°C after being put through conditioning tests in a ventilated stove for 180 days at 70°C, according to a particular U.E.A.t.c directive on membrane ageing. |

| How to apply |
| POLYSHIELD TS 4 and POLYSHIELD TS 4 MINERAL has both surfaces covered with POLYFLAM, the special polyethylene anti-adhesive film to be torched during application; in the mineral version, the top surface is covered by a uniform layer of natural or coloured slate chips and supplied with two-side overlapping strips (BYSTOP, registered mark). The substrate must be dry, clean and smooth. The membrane is applied by torching it with a light propane gas flame. Application is quick and easy. |
