MODIBOND and MODIBOND MINERAL are high performing elastoplastomeric prefabricated waterproofing membranes. They are made with a special compound of distilled bitumen base modified with POLYPROPYLENE, equipped with a particular reinforcement of non-woven polyester filament; SPUNBOND, which is stabilised and reinforced with longitudinal glass wire. The characteristics of these membranes are a guarantee of the great versatility and adaptability to every kind of job. The special compound guarantees high flexibility at low temperatures. | How to apply |
| MODIBOND and MODIBOND MINERAL has both surfaces covered with POLYFLAM, the special polyethylene anti-adhesive film to be torched during application; in the mineral version, the top surface is covered by a uniform layer of natural or coloured slate chips and supplied with an overlapping strip. The substrate must be dry, clean and smooth. The membrane is applied by torching it with a light propane gas flame. Application is quick and easy. |
